Since the launch of our organisation in 2002, a number of businesses, organisations and individuals have provided invaluable support for our group. We would like to acknowledge their contribution and thank them for their encouragement.
The Hearts of Hope website is published by Deb Rennie (WA). Many of the families involved with Hearts of Hope Australia have met through Deb's efforts. Her website has lots of family stories and information on HLHS.
HeartKids Victoria has a close working relationship with the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. They have a strong presence in the Cardiac Ward (7 West) and offer support and information to families who have a child diagnosed with heart disease.
HeartKids WA is a group of families who each have a child with heart disease. They have come together to offer each other support and share information. HeartKids in West Australia has been very supportive of our group through their encouraging feedback and also by arranging the printing and distribution of our brochures.
Special thanks to Tania from Masterpeace Creative Studios for donating her time and talents to re-work our logo. We are thrilled with the professional look she has achieved.
RCH social workers offer assistance to all families of children being treated at the hospital. The department keeps a stock of our brochures which includes information on HLHS and our contact details. Please ask one of the social workers for a copy if you are interested in this information.
