Hello and welcome to Nathan's page.This web site is to celebrate Nathan's life and to share his journey with CHD. It is a journey that is  filled with love, hope, smiles and tears. To read his story please use the menu above. Nathan was born by caesarean section on 20th October 1993 after a difficult pregnancy. He is the youngest of our 5 children. He was a lovely bonny baby who just looked perfect when he was born. Later that night we found out that he had complex heart defects and thus started the roller coaster ride that we have traveled and are still traveling. He was diagnosed with a Hypoplastic Left Ventricle with Complex Heart Defects. Nathan has a love of many things in his life but especially for soccer and he plays in a summer competition in our area. He also plays indoor soccer during the winter months.  He loves putting his boots on and kicking the soccer ball, kicking goals and dreams of one day being part of the world cup. Nathan will be turning 13 this year and he can't wait to be a teenager, the years have passed by so very quickly.
