- Staying overnight with your child
One parent or carer can stay overnight with their child in his or her room. Most bedrooms in the hospital are in single rooms with an ensuite and built-in bed for a parent or carer. Shared rooms also have an ensuite and a place at the bedside for a parent or carer to stay. - Long term accommodation
Patients and families from outside Brisbane who require accommodation while their child is receiving treatment at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital may be able to stay with charitable accommodation providers such as Ronald McDonald House Charities or the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland. If you require long-term accommodation or have any questions, ask to speak to one of our welfare officers.
